Junior Screenings/Senior Scholarships

At every conference, high school juniors will have the opportunity to audition for college and university represenatives. These auditions serve as serve as a screening tool that allows students to display their talents. More information, and forms are available in the Conference registration manual. Completed materials must be postmarked by February 1,2011 and should be sent to Audition Coordinator Jamie Stephenson at 2500 Panther Circle, Pelham, AL 35124-1670

Conference Scholarship Opportunities for Students and Teachers
|
At every Confrence, ALEdTA invites colleges from across the region to participate in auditions for our junior and senior high school students. College representatives will see juniors auditioning for university programs and seniors as they audition for our state Thespian Scholarships.
We welcom your participation and would love to have you join us in Huntsville for our 2010-2011 Confrence. Colleges and Universities that participate in our audition process will have the fee waived on a display table in the lobby of the Conference theater. This table may be used for interviews,educational materials and displays that highlight the universites theatre program. Your table may be set up beginning the friday of Conference and must be taken down by Sunday afternoon.

Festival Scholarship Opportunities
|
The Jenny Sheree Alford Scholarship covers one student's registration to the State Thespian Festival. This award goes to a student deserving of financial need and must be nominated by a fellow student.
